Peace & Quiet

Img_3310_2 One of the busiest days of one of the busiest cities in the world, Tokyo. Tomorrow is the day for Lower House election. Candidates were campaigning heavily everywhere. It was also a day when people were holding shrine festivals in many places. Traffic was busy because of them. My bus was stuck in the traffic jam. After being on the bus for an hour, I started feeling frustrated. I was supposed to arrive at Shibuya in half an hour but I was still on the way. I felt my mind was busy affected by surroundings. It was on the way to yoga class.

Arrived at Sun & Moon (yoga class). As soon as I started breathing, I felt my mind was calming down. The yoga breathing, ujjayi breathing helps you to avoid distruction and calm down your mind. You inhale positive energy and exhale negative energy. I tried to inhale peace and quiet and exhale busyness. At the end of yoga, I felt peaceful and relaxed.

On the way back to home, I saw parade floats with a lot of people on the street. With the peaceful mind, I enjoyed watching them and wasn’t bothered by the crowed.
