Chanko Nabe -The Staple Diet for Sumo Wrestlers

Yesterday, a friend took us to Chanko Nabe restaurant in Midorigaoka (it’s near Jiyugaoka). Originally, Chanko Nabe is a hot pot for sumo wrestlers. And there are some restaurants where you can eat quite good Chanko Nabe in Tokyo. Chanko restaurant "Shibamatsu" was excellent. Not only Chanko Nabe but also all other dishes were pretty good! The most impressive one was meltingly delicious beef carpaccio! I wish my tummy was as big as sumo wrestlers 😉 Anyways, my first Chanko experience was super!  I told them I’d like to put the link to their web page in my blog since I liked the food so much. 昨日は友人に緑ヶ丘（自由が丘の隣）のちゃんこ鍋の店に連れて行ってもらった。ちゃんこ　“芝松”はほんとにイケてた。ちゃんこだけじゃなくてどの料理もほんとにおいしかった。なかでも牛のたたきは最高！とろけるおいしさだった。力士並みに大きな胃が欲しい～と真剣に思ったりした。私の初ちゃんこ体験はそんなこんなでご機嫌。店の人にブログでぜひ紹介したいと話したところもちろん喜んでくれた。ということでリンク。http://www.shibamatsu.com/　ちなみに冬はめちゃ混みだそうです。
