Pomme de Pin : One of the most impressive shops/restaurants was a sandwich chain, Pomme de Pin. On the first day in Paris(Aug. 18) while I was waiting for a friend arriving in Paris, I was looking for a shop to buy supper. It was already after 20:00 and it seemed not many shops were open. Our hotel was located just next St.Lazare station. I didn’t want to go far from there. Luckily, I found Pomme de Pin quite close to the hotel. Their sandwiches looked excellent but I chose salad as I hadn’t had much vegetable on the day. Yummy! The mixed salad was pretty good. It had several kinds of leafy vegetables, an boild egg, really yummy cheese, ham and tomatoes.(I couldn’t eat tomatoes as I don’t like it though ;-). I liked it so much and I ate the same salad next day. The last morning in Paris, we went to Pomme de Pin to have breakfast. Both of us had un croissant et un pin au chocolat. They were quite good, too! We loved Pomme de Pin!! It’s a fast food chain but offers lovely food.
パリでとても印象に残っている店の１つにポム・ド・パンがある。パリに着いた日（８月１８日）、友達の到着をホテルで待っている間に夕飯を買いに出かけた。もう８時を過ぎていたのであまり空いている店はなかった。ちなみにホテルはサン・ラザール駅のすぐ隣。あまり遠くまでは行きたくなかった。ラッキーにもポム・ド・パンを発見。サンドイッチがとてもおいしそうだったけどその日はあまり野菜を食べてないのを思い出してミックスサラダを選んだ。サラダにはいろんな葉菜、ゆで卵、すごくおいしいチーズとハム、それにトマトが入っていて、すごくおいしかった。（ちなみにトマトは嫌いだから評価できない）あまり気に入ったので次の日も同じものを買いに行った。パリでの最後の日の朝もポム・ド・パンに朝ごはんを食べに行った。友達も私もクロワッサンとパン・オー・ショコラを注文。これもまたすごくおいしかった。ポム・ド・パン、最高！ファーストフードチェーンなのにこんなにおいしいなんて！
