Last Sunday, after yoga practice, one of yoga friends took us to gallette and crepe restaurant, Au Temps Jadis in Shibuya. The lunch set was huge including aperitif(honey wine), salad, gallette, crepe and coffee/tea, only at 2300yen. I didn’t choose it but had only gallette as it seemed to be too big for me. Everything there was so French and the decoration was lovely.

On the way back to the station, we found the Earth Day market in Yoyogi park. There were a lot of organic food and staff sold. It reminded me of Raspail BIO market in Paris. Raspail is much bigger than Yoyogi one though. I bought some vegetable and fruits. Grapes smelled excellent and were extremely tasty.

先週の日曜はヨガの練習の後　クラスのヨガ友達にガレットとクレープのレストラン、渋谷にあるAu Temps Jadis に連れて行ってもらった。ランチセットはボリュームたっぷり。２３００円で　食前酒、サラダ、ガレット、クレープ、それにコーヒーか紅茶がついてくる。ボリュームありすぎて食べ切れそうになかったので私はガレットだけにしておいたけど。フレンチな雰囲気たっぷりのレストランだった。

帰りに代々木公園でアースディの日曜市をやっていた。オーガニックな食材とかその他もろもろ。パリのラスパイユのオーガニックマーケットを思い出した。ラスパイユのほうが全然規模が大きいけれど。野菜と果物をいくつか購入。ぶどうはにおいが格別だったし　食べてもおいしかった。

Yesterday, a friend and I went to a Japanese restaurant, Nisho-An, at Jiyugaoka to celebrate her birthday. The atmosphere of the wooden house restaurant was lovely. And food was superb! We had 3670yen course and enjoyed the variety of food. Even though it was the cheapest one, it had a lot and I couldn’t finish it!

昨日は友達の誕生日のお祝いに自由が丘の和食のお店「仁松庵」に行った。木造のレストランの雰囲気は最高だったし　食べ物もほんとおいしかった。３６７０円のコースを頼んで料理を堪能。一番安いコースなのに量も十分。食べ切れなかった。（ちなみに　私が一番気に入っているカメラ　IXY200　が活躍。）

After yoga practice, I went to Seijogakuenmae to see a friend. Seijo Corty, a new shopping mall at the station has just opened. There were some nice shops and restaurants. I liked Hansel & Gretel’s

where you can find organic cosmetics and soaps. The soy bread I bought at the Troisgros’ was very nice : )

Again the autumn sky I saw from the Corty was beautiful. (Can you find the Roppongi Hills in the picture? )　Anyways, Seijogakuenmae looks so different now.

ヨガの練習の後、成城学園前で友達に会った。新しい駅ビル、コルティがオープンしたばかり。結構いい感じの店やレストランが・・・　ヘンデル＆グレーテルではオーガニックの化粧品や石鹸、そのほかにも素敵なものがたくさん。あのフランスの名店トロワグロで買った豆乳パンもおいしかった。

そしてコルティから見た秋の空はまたしても美しかった。六本木ヒルズも見えたので撮影。

成城学園前はすっかり様変わりしてしまった。

Yesterday’s lunch at the French restaurant, Casse-Croute near the office. 1500yen for entree, main, dessert and coffee (or tea). Excellent taste and each portion was big!

昨日は会社の近くのフランス料理店、キャスクルートでランチ。 1500円で前菜、メイン、デザートにコーヒー（または紅茶、ハーブティー）。おいしくて量も十分。

Quest for Holly Grail never ends… When I went to Paris in June, The Musee du Louvre was shut and I couldn’t see the paintings which were in "The Da Vinci Code". Therefore I visited the Louvre again when I went to Paris in August. Of course, me and a friend wanted to see the "Virgin of the Rocks" and the "Mona Lisa". So do others! The museum was extremely crowded on the Saturday, especially in from of those painting and the Venus of Milo. Although we were excited to see them it was too busy to stay there to enjoy the the incredible works. By the way, the museum’s web page is excellent. It has a lot of pictures and information!

We also went to the Saint-Sulpice to see the Rose Line (the second picture). The church was big and beautiful and of course, there were a lot of tourists including us. I felt so excited and took a lot of pictures when I found the line. Unfortunately and as usual, inside the chapel was a bit dark to take a good picture and I didn’t have a tripod with me.

Then finally, the inverted pyramid…As we thought it was in the Louvre, we couldn’t find it at first. But it was actually in the underground shopping mall called the "Carrousel du Louvre" next to the Louvre. And it seems that the bottom of the pyramid was under construction… Of course, they moved the Holly Grail as Dan Brown disclosed the place!!!;-) (The third picture is the Inverted Pyramid, and I cut bottom to make it better). The shopping Mall was cool, BTW.

So, where’s the Holly Grail now? two weeks ago, I was in Xian and saw something… another pyramid! (the forth picture). If I were Dan Brown, I’d write The Da vinci Code II, in which someone goes to Xian to the Grail. Xian is an amazing place as I wrote a little bit in the previous post. The Qin Dynasty and the terracotta warriors.. lots of things that would make the story very interesting. And naturally, China has great history.

聖杯を巡る冒険に終わりはない・・・　6月のパリ、ルーブル美術館に行った日はなんと休館日。でも　8月には　お目当てのVirgin of the Rocks　（洞窟の処女だっけ、日本語訳？）　と　モナ・リザを 見ることができた。もちろん他の観光客も同じものが見たかったわけで　この2つの絵画の前は大混雑。それにミロのヴーナスの前の人ごみもすごかった。（しかも彫刻は写真撮影可だからさらにすごいことになっていた。）かの有名な作品を目の前に私も相当盛り上がったけれど　あまりの混雑にゆっくり鑑賞というわけにはいかなかった。ところでルーブルのWeb Pageはかなりいい感じ。写真もたくさんあるし、説明も必要かつ十分。

サン・サルピュスにも行った。どうしてもローズラインが見たかったし。（ローズラインは2番目の写真）教会は大きくて美しかった。私と友人も含めて観光客でごった返してはいたけれど。ローズラインを見つけてかなり興奮。写真を撮りまくった。しかし　いつもながら教会の中は少し暗くてあまりいい写真がとれなかった。もちろん三脚もなし。

それから逆さピラミッド（っていうのか？）も見たかった。ルーブルの中にあるのかと思ったのだけれど見つからず、実際にはルーブルに隣接する地下のショッピングモールにあった。それにピラミッドの底（というか頂点というか、この場合）は工事中の模様。もちろん、ダン・ブラウンが小説の中で聖杯のありかを暴露してしまったのだから　聖杯を動かす工事が必要だったに違いない;-)（3番目の写真がそれです。下のほうはカットしてしまったので工事中の部分は見えません。）ちなみにショッピングモールはすごく楽しい感じだった。

では聖杯は今どこに？2週間前に行った西安で見てしまった、ピラミッド。（4番目の写真）もし私がダン・ブラウンだったら　ダ・ヴィンチコードIIを書いて舞台は西安。秦の始皇帝に兵馬俑、ネタにはこと欠かない。なんといっても中国は歴史のある国だし。
