Last week, I bought a new camera. It’s my first digital SLR. Expectation was quite high but I had to face to some difficulty this morning. I didn’t get the right color which I had thought I would with "Auto" mode when I saw the objects through the finder.Need to read the manual. Still one of the pictures here.

先週新しいカメラを購入。初めてのデジタル一眼。期待は大きかったものの・・・今朝会社に行く途中に撮影してみるとこれがなかなか難しい。オートモードで撮った写真の色は実際にファインダーをのぞいたときに期待したものとは大違い。マニュアル読まなきゃ・・・だ。それでも何とか１枚載せてみた。

It has been a week since I stayed overnight in Katuura, Chiba. The sunset  at the beach　was impressive.

勝浦の海岸で見た夕陽はとてもきれいだった・・・勝浦１泊旅行に行ってから早くも１週間が過ぎてしまったけれど。

東京からロスまで行ってサンフランシスコ往きのフライトに乗り換えた時に見た空はとてもきれいだった。よって思わず撮影（11月2日）。この日の移動については11月3日のポストに詳しく書きました。

Palo Alto, where we had a meeting about a week ago, is located 35 miles south of San Francisco and 14 miles north of San Jose. The gold leaves were beautiful in front of the office. Palo Alto is known for Stanford University.

１週間ほど前にミーティングで行ったパロ・アルトはサンフランシスコから35マイル、サン・ホセ から14マイルのところにある。私が行ったときにはオフィスの周りの木々が紅葉していてきれいだった。パロ・アルトはスタンフォード大学があることで知られている。

Yesterday, I came back to work from the business trip to California. Mt. Fuji welcomed me again : )And this morning, I noticed the leaves turned gold on the way to yoga practice. But temperature went over 20 degrees C at day time and I was wearing only T-shirt when I went out for lunch.

I loved the pink flower at yoga studio this morning and saw moon in the blue sky at 9:00 after the practice.

出張から戻り昨日は1週間ぶりに東京のオフィスに出社。夕方にはすごくきれいな富士山が出迎えてくれた。そして今朝、1週間ぶりに朝のヨガの練習に向かったとき　家の周りの木の葉がきれいに色づいているのに気づいた。でも今日も日中の気温は20度以上。半袖のTシャツでも寒くなかった。

ヨガ教室にあったきれいなピンクの花に心がとても和んだ。練習の後、朝の9時には青い空にきれいな月が・・・

Came back from San Francisco yesterday. Moon was beautiful there last weekend. The first picture is almost full moon (one day before) and the second one is full moon. I can’t see much difference though.

昨日サンフランシスコから戻った。週末に見た月はとてもきれいだった。最初の写真は満月の１日前で2枚目の写真が満月。あまり違いは分からないのだけれど・・・

Actually, it’s still the 2nd of November here in California. 9.5 hours flight from Tokyo to L.A. Ridiculously tight security, long queue, complaining  & arguing people and flight delay at the Los Angels International Airport. Even after getting on board, we had to wait for an hour or maybe more, but I’m not sure as I was sleeping and didn’t know when the plane took off. I thought we were still at the airport when flight attendants started serving drink…I thought they did it because we had to wait for longer than expected. But we’re flying…

Arrived at San Francisco, I took door-to-door shuttle to Palo Alto. Traffic was busy in the evening. It was dark when I got the Stanford Terrace Inn hotel. But I’m glad to be in the comfortable hotel room now. Quite a big room! Just hope I can sleep wel after almost 24(or 23?) hours of travellingl!

カリフォルニアはまだ11月2日。東京からロサンジェルスまで9時間半。LAの空港のセキュリティは馬鹿馬鹿しいほど厳しかったし、おかげでセキュリティエリアは異常な混雑、みんな文句を言い出して（私もだけど）大混乱な上にフライトも遅れた。飛行機に乗ってからも1時間以上は離陸待ち。寝てるうちに離陸してたので実際にはどのくらい待ったのか分からない。1時間以上は間違いないけど。ドリンクのサービスが始まったときも実はまだ離陸してないのかと思った。あまりにも待ち時間が長くなったのでドリンクを配り始めたのかと思ったのだけれど実は空の上だった。

サンフランシスコに着いて　door-to-door　シャトルタクシーに乗ってパロ･アルトへ。夕方なので道も混んでいてホテルに着くた時には　辺りは真っ暗。でも着いてほっとした。もう空の上じゃないしホテルは快適、それに必要以上に広い。東京の家を出てからここに着くまで24時間くらいかかった。（23時間くらいか・・・？）後は寝るだけ。ゆっくり寝れることを祈るのみ。

Finished packing now. I’m flying to San Francisco via L.A today. I’ll have a meeting in Palo Alto and have a very short holiday in San Fran. Weather seems to be almost same as Tokyo. Hope I’ll have nice pictures.

パッキングを終えたばかり・・・今日はこれからサンフランシスコに行く。パロ・アルトで仕事をしてからサンフランシスコで短い休暇（ほんと短い！）　天気は東京と同じくらいらしい。写真撮るのが楽しみ。
