Cherry blossoms are blooming lovely in Tokyo. Forecasters said it would rain this evening. A lot of people flocked to the parks to enjoy the flowers before it started raining. It’s 22:00 and we haven’t had rain yet though. I met a friend for lunch and had a walk in the Komazawa Olympic Park. It was quite challenging to take pictures of cherry blossoms under the gray sky…
東京では桜が満開に近くなった。今日は夕方雨の予報。その前に花見をしようという人々で公園はにぎわっていた。で、現在午後10時。結局雨は降ってなかったりするけど。私は友達とランチをして駒沢公園を散歩。曇り空の下、桜の写真を撮るのはかなり難しかった・・・

It was a warm day, 24 degrees, though it was very windy in the morning… Cherry blossoms by Meguro river and in front of the museum in Sakurashimmachi.

Finally, I uploaded the pictures I took in Sapporo. Time flies… I feel it was long long time ago when I went to Sapporo and was taking pictures in the snow storm! The first day in Sapporo was warm and snow statues were melting. But the second day, we had a lot of snow. When we went to see the statues in the evening, wind got stronger. Though I had no idea how to take pictures in the snow storm, I tried…. Link to the album here..

ようやく札幌雪祭りの写真をUpしました。上のリンクからどうぞ。あの大雪の中で写真を撮っていたのはすごく前のような気がするけど・・。札幌での初日は暖かくて雪像は少し溶け気味。でも2日目には大雪で、夕方雪像を見に行ったときには風も強まり若干吹雪みたいになっていた。そんな中でどうやって写真を撮ったらいいのかはまったく分からなかったけどひたすら撮り続けてみた。
