出張や旅行でヘルシンキに来ていたときはよく行っていたのに、住んでから行かなくなった場所の１つが、かの有名なアルバー・アールト設計のアカテーミネン本屋の2階にあるカフェ・アールト。今日は久しぶりに行ってきました。“かもめ食堂”の舞台にもなったこのカフェ、もちろん日本人観光客にも人気の場所。というわけで日本語のメニューが用意されていました。
When I didn't live in Helsinki, I often visited this bookshop and the cafe Aalto on the second floor whenver I came to Helsinki on business and for fun. But I hadn't been there for quite some time till today. This cafe got really popular among Japanese tourists for the Japanese movie shot in Helsinki and the surroundings. For those Japanese customers, menu is available in Japanese as well as Finnish, Swedish and English.
久しぶりに行ったこのカフェ。落ち着いた雰囲気は前と変わらず、ゆっくりランチを楽しみました。
Having lunch there, I remembered what I liked about this cafe. I like the calm and relaxing atmosphere of this cafe. I also enjoy looking at books before and after coffee.
