Walking

I used to say ,”I hate walking.” I used to get earily tired when I walk even for 20 min.

However, for the lst two months or so, I have been walking a lot as there isn’t much else to do than working, cooking and cleaning as cafes and restaurants are closed, we need to keep social distance with others, no chance to travel and so on.

I got to used to walk long distance and 10,000 steps a day is easy to do. I don’t get tired after one hour of walk anymore.

It’s quite nice to notice that your body and view on certain things change after repetitive exercise and geting used to.

Though wind is still cold, we have spring weather in Helsinki. We have shiny green and colorful flowers everywhere. I often heard, read and translated that nature is close to you wherever you are in Helsinki. Now I really agree to it having experienced it. I enjoy beautiful nature when I walk more than ever as I don’t have to be distructed by the feeling of tiredness.

I hope I will continue walking a lot after things have become less restricted in the (hopefully) coming months. πŸ™‚
