At the beginning of 2020, I was talking about visiting Pori with a friend. Though I knew it was famous for the jazz festival and one of Alvar Aalto work, I hadn’t been there. We were talking about going to Pori in May and I was looking at the hotels in Pori and around.

Looking at Ahlströmin Ruukki Noormarkku‘s hotel, I got excited. It was a hotel I would definitely like to stay. I would like to visit Pori even to stay at the pink wallpaper room at the hotel.

As soon as we fixed the date and other locations to visit in our road trip, we booked a room at the Ahlströmin Ruukki Noormarkku’s hotel. There are different color-themed rooms, but I really really wanted to stay at the pink-themed room. So, we sent the hotel a message to tell my wish and they promised us to secure the pink-themed room for us.

When we checked in the hotel, I, once again, asked them if we had got the pink-themed room and they said “Yes!”

Opening the door and entering the room, we found that the room was as lovely as it was in the pictures in the booking site. What a joy!

The were several buildings for accommodation in the premise and surrounding sceneries were amazing!
After delicious dinner at the Noormarkku Club which is in the same building as the reception is, we went for a walk in the beautiful premises. We walked and walked forgetting the time. We took so many pictures. It was such a beautiful and joyful evening! I hope you can feel even a bit of it in the pictures.

We enjoyed everything here. Dining experience, dinner and breakfast, at the Noormarkku Club was great. Service was sophisticated yet friendly.

Ahlströmin Ruukki Noormarkku is one of the hotels + experience I would like to repeat as many times as possible! As a matter of fact, I am talking about visiting there this coming summer again with the same friend.
