Peterzens – Accommodation in Kustavi

After visiting the cafe at the Kustavi Handicraft Village, we walked about 20 minutes to our accommodation of the day, Peterzens. Staying overnight at Peterzens was special. If you look at the pictures, you have, at least, a bit of idea.

Peterzens is at the guest harbor. There are restaurants, shops, different recreation activities available in addition to the accommodation. There are 14 boathouse-accommodation. They look exotic and unique.

Our boathouse

The standard room (boathouse)was a bit small but the experience was special. For shower, we had to go to the building where sauna was located, but there was toilet in the room. All the facilities within 5 minuets walk in the premises.

It’s a guest harbor, thus there were a lot of boats. Peterzens’ premises are surrounding the harbor and we could see the harbor from everywhere.

For dinner, we couldn’t help ordering Thai curry for nice-looking and big-enough prawns. And it was tasty though it wasn’t (spicy) hot. We chose it for spiciness but for prawns, so the mild taste was not something we cared. The cold smoke salmon in the salad was also nice. Such dinner satisfied our empty stomach. We had eaten only breakfast and munkki till dinner at 18:00!

Next morning, we were delighted as the air felt much cooler than the previous days. We were relieved to realized the extremely warm period had been over. (Hopefully, it’s the fact.) We had breakfast in the terrace enjoying the harbor view and cool breeze one last time. After breakfast, we left Peterzens and walked to the bus stop to get to Kustavi main bus station (we think it is) where we had a coffee break.
